North Cariboo Grown products are food, beverages or agricultural products that are 100% grown or raised in the North Cariboo. Products range from beef, poultry, lamb, fruits, vegetables, eggs, meat rabbits and goats to breeding stock for cattle, poultry, lamb, goats, and cashmere. Feed such as hay and alfalfa grass are also included in this category.
North Cariboo Products are those processed food, beverages or agricultural, manufactured and handcrafted products that are made with the main raw materials grown or raised in the North Cariboo. Products range from Bath Products such as goat milk and herbal soaps; Food Products such as BBQ sauce, birch syrup, birch toffee candy, and herbal vinegars, pepperoni, jerky, wieners, tea, jelly and other preserves; Fibre Products made from alpaca, llama, goats and sheep such as blankets, socks, cashmere and yarns; to Evergreen Products like wreaths and hanging baskets.
North Cariboo Farm-based Services are services provided on the farm in which a majority of the labour is sourced in the North Cariboo. “North Cariboo Made” are those processed food, fish, beverages or agricultural, manufactured and handcrafted products, in which the majority of raw materials are grown, caught or raised in the North Cariboo.
“North Cariboo Farm-based Services” are services provided on the farm in which a majority of the labour is sourced in the North Cariboo.
The North Cariboo brand may be used by retailers and food service businesses that sell products that are produced in the North Cariboo, as well as organizations and associations that support agricultural products, agri-tourism, and farm based services. They will also be recognized as a “Proud North Cariboo – Farm Country Grown for You Supporter”.
